| Unlike the affixes in the Preverbal slots, the Telicity affixes are usually not generated spontaneously in discourse, but when they do appear, the resultant forms are considered independent lexical entities in their own right. That is, the Preverbal affixes encode syntactic information, whereas the Telicity affixes, as derivational morphemes, are semantic in nature.
