Skundavisk
Etymology
From Middle Skundavisk sted, from Old Skundavisk stedi, staedi, from Halmisk ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛁ (stadi), ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛁᛉ (stadiŕ), from Proto-Germanic *stadiz. Doublet of stad, which arose from ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛉ (stadŕ), a consonantal-stem variant of ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛁᛉ (stadiŕ), and thus wasn't affected by i-umlaut.
