| ==Sprachbünde==
| |
| Dodellia is home to at least five indigenous language sprachbünde. Clofabosin and Dodellian are part of the Clofabian sprachbund spoken in Northern Etalocin, characterized by "Altaic" grammar. Except for Clofabosin, Dodellian and Yacavestub, Northern Dodellian languages have vowel harmony. Ksieh is part of the Equatorial Coast sprachbund, which is characterized by head-initialness, lack of tonality and analyticity. In addition there are the Central Dodellian sprachbund, Southern Dodellian sprachbund and Forest Dodellian sprachbund.

| Southern Dodellian languages are polysynthetic. Central Dodellian languages are analytic, and at least historically, exhibited morphosyntactic alignments very different from Clofabosin or Dodellian (tripartite? ergative? Austronesian?), as was the case with [[Idavic]]. Phonologically, Central Dodellian languages are known for having few fricatives and large vowel inventories. Large vowel inventories are also characteristic of Forest Dodellian languages.
