Euhwisċ, means 'pertaining to the ponies', the name comes from the Proto-West-Germanic word *ehw, from earlier Proto-Germanic *ehwaz.

Old Ponish forst appeared in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the episode Uncommon Bond. Its next appearence was in the season 7 finale Shadow Play: Part 1. It is modeled off Old English. On 5 May 2024, The Ramosian made a more complete version with more Germanic grammar
