I'm a young woman currently living in the midwestern United States, in the process of immigrating to France. I am in and out of university studies, where I am studying English language to teach in France. I started researching languages around the age of 15 and later decided to pursue linguistic studies after a failed attempt to study university for medicine (4 years of my life wasted). I am also a practicing muslim. I primarily work with a posteriori languages, and design them to be used in various alternate history timelines that I create (or rather, I create the timelines to give my languages a place to exist). For me, conlanging is a hobby that I like to partake in it to help relieve stress. | I'm a young woman currently living in the midwestern United States, in the process of immigrating to France. The name Karous, despite the French pronunciation I prescribe for it, is actually derived from a [[w:Karous| japanese shoot-em-up game for the Sega Dreamcast]] I often would binge play. It means 'crow' in the Japanese accented English of the game. I like crows, a lot. | |||
